Empowwwer designed the event logo, magazine advertising, web site, direct mail, signage, and brochures for this community event and running race. The St. Pete Beach Classic is a series of running events in late January of each year. This year the focus is to reduce advertising spending and increase local reach through traditional and social media. While traditional marketing is still in use we have balanced the mix of printed materials with that of electronic formats.
We are using Facebook, twitter, and email campaigns to reach a local community of runners and atheltes, as well as local businesses. Thus far, we are ahead of last years registration by 10% at a similar time.
